| The hotel is central to key tourist sites, as well as an outdoor shopping mall where you can find everything from hiking equipment to a glorious bookstore. Safe to walk. We stayed there on arrival in NZ and returned following our two week tour of the country. Would definitely stay here again. |

| This was a great downtown luxury hotel in Christchurch. The only thing about it that wasn't 5-star was the TV. It was an old 17 inch set with poor reception and few channels. But that is my only complaint with this superb vacation spot. |

| poor room maintenance -- lightbulbs out, not very clean; extremely poor ""high speed"" internet service -- expensive (33/day), slow (less than 200kb); staff really couldn't care less about much of anything; extra fee parking in tiny basement garage (good luck getting through the door) |

| The Holiday Inn Christchurch, City Center, is actually a wonderful hotel. It is a classic style building, which blends in well with the surrounding architecture. The hotel staff is very accomodating. The city of Christchurch is incredibly walkable, so this hotel is in a great location, being right in the middle of everything. It is a short walk to the true town center. The hotel room provided a great view of the surrounding area. Also, the room was very spacious and comfortable with a desk and the usual TV. Internet access was good and only a wired option, but a bit pricey. The washroom was also roomy and updated. Overall it is a hotel that I'd recommend and consider staying in again. |

| We stayed here last year. every thing about this hotel was excellent and we will be staying there again next time we are visiting New Zealand the staff were very helpful.Robert & Dorothy.from Nottingham England. |

| It's a very nice and confortable hotel, right in teh middle of town. I enjoyed staying tehre in spite of rain and snow! |

| The Holiday Inn Centre City was very comfortable, very clean and very quite. I'll stay there again and would highly recommend it. It's also very convenient to cafes, shops, resturants, everything. My only problem was not being able to get on-line from my room but it was probably a problem with my computer. There were other computers available so I was able to use them. |
