| Booked x9 rooms for a weekend with staff. Arrived approx 2.40pm and was told only x3 rooms ready. Waited until 3.50pm for the final room to be serviced. Although inconvenient I would be happy to accept this if we were told how long we needed to wait and that our bags could be held if we wanted to go somewhere. Even a free drink / coffee would have been welcomed for the inconvenience. As I was slightly confused, I kindly asked the reception lady what time check-in was to be told it was 2pm, I then asked why we weren't in until almost 4pm to be met with a nasty reply that the Hotel was full and if I wanted to talk to someone about it she would find someone - perhaps I should have. The following day we were all out from 10am to 4pm. When we got back some rooms had been serviced and then some had not been, so for the ones that weren't these people had to go out again while this was being done. All in all a lovely place to stay but come on how about having more staff on to provide a better house keeping service. |

| The room was smaller than i had expected however it suited my needs and the cost was reasonable it was clean and central to city i have no complaints and would recommend it in future to friends with out any hesitations |

| Hotel very modern, excellent room facilities, king-size bed which was very comfortable. Room was very clean and street noise was minimal. Situated right in the heart of Christchurch city - you could easily walk to most attractions within 10 minutes. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Only possible drawback - if you have a car there is no on-site parking. You can park in the street free of charge between 6pm to 9 am during week days and full time after 1pm Saturday to 9am Monday morning. I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting Christchurch. |
